Where I Am

This is me: sitting on my couch watching "The King of Queens" on TVLand in my husband's sweatshirt and a pair of leggings.  I'm 5 months pregnant and tired but I don't feel like sleeping.  This is my alone time.  My husband and 18 month old daughter are asleep.  The house is quiet, the kitchen is still dirty.  It's almost midnight, and tomorrow's coffee and breakfast for hubby must be prepared before I hit the sack.  But, I am a procrastinator.  And a night-owl.  The kitchen will wait until tomorrow, and I will sleep in as long as I can.  I'm not lazy, I'm creative.  This is my playbook.
